WHAT'S NEW?
DATAMARS EQUINE MICROCHIPS
We now offer equine microchips. Our Datamars Equine Slim Microchips are universally compliant, and satisfy the requirements of the USHJA, USEF, FEI Passport, and USDA as well as countless other breed and show organizations. They are made of polymer and cause less tissue reaction than older glass microchips. Besides their use for the show-ring, microchips are great for keeping your horse safe and identifiable in case of natural disasters. We highly recommend having your horse microchipped this year. The process is safe and well tolerated by horses. You will feel secure knowing that your horse is identifiable for life.

LAMENESS LOCATOR
We are thrilled to announce our purchase of a Lameness Locator, a tool that provides objective assessment of a horse's movement using inertial sensors that collect information 10-20X faster than the human eye. It is the result of 20 years of gait analysis research by Dr. Kevin Keegan at the University of Missouri and it provides objective, precise, accurate measurements of the horse's movement and creates an analysis that indicates severity of lameness, limb or limbs involved, and the part of the motion cycle where peak lameness occurs. We are very excited to put this tool to use for lameness examinations, pre-purchase, as well as healthy horse exams to create a baseline gait signature, before lameness occurs.
